I TRIED CBD OIL FOR MY ANXIETY - HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED



There are many studies and researches doing the rounds that cannabidiol (CBD) have the ability to trim down the feeling of anxiety in those people who are struggling with generalized social anxiety disorder.

Generalized anxiety disorder has till date affected more than 6.8 million U.S residents wherein, every 1 out of 6 Americans are dealing with some of the other mental health condition. I was never diagnosed on the record for my anxiety, but the hectic and high-stress working schedule had made me feel nervous, restless, and panicky. Soon, after I noticed this change in my behavior, I tried looking out for a natural way to alleviate my anxiety rather than visiting a doctor and drowning into pharmaceutical medications.

Anecdotally, touted for its medicinal benefits and healing effect, CBD oil has affected many lives in the past by leaving a relaxed and de-stressed effect. Hence, I decided to consider CBD oil to cope up with my anxiety issues.

I did spend a lot of time searching online for a genuine and high-quality CBD product.

There are many who often get confused with the two terms CBD and THC. Ideally, THC is the psychoactive element found in cannabis and marijuana plant that is responsible for making you high. Factually, CBD and THC are not the same. When CBD is separated from the THC content, I will not cause anyone high and can be safely used for medicinal purposes.

Many healthcare industries have started implementing CBD into their supplements after it has shown promising results on arthritis, epilepsy, and anxiety. After having the first dose, I hardly felt any changes in the state of mind.

There was a noticeable difference in my anxiety levels.

I wouldn’t say I got 100% stress-free overnight, but I certainly noticed a difference within a week of taking CBD oil. I would take the oil with help of the dropper under the tongue and held it for a minute before swallowing. I experienced being less anxious and tensed. I would frequently bother about a few things that affected my work and my productivity, such as forgetting to answer my emails, or finding an alternative way to make work easier. After taking CBD oil, I was more focused and productive towards my work.

Moreover, CBD oil also ensured to make me fall sleep on time at night without any gaps or disturbances. Other than including CBD oil in my life, I had not made any other changes in my diet or cut out on caffeine intake. Hence, CBD oil surely did the miracle on me by enhancing my ability to fall asleep while reducing my anxiety.

I later thought of experimenting with different forms of CBD products.

After taking the tincture oil for almost 3 months, I thought of trying other CBD products from the same brand of course! The taste of the oil was usually hemp oil, but I was curious to try their gummies. I took gummies in a similar quantity (2 gummies in a day, which makes it up to 20mg of CBD consumption in a day). It was soothing and pleasant while the effect of being calm and focus continues to remain along with the consumption of gummies as well.

It’s been 5 months now and I’ve been taking gummies every alternate day to keep my energy optimum and anxiety at bay.

I do carry along the gummies along if ever I’m traveling so that I’m never on short of the good feeling. Till today, I haven’t seen a negative effect coming from the CBD. Now I have modified my lifestyle while adopting a healthier living. I have started focusing on my diet, doing regular exercise and get some ‘me’ time post-work.
